Our philosophy centers on infants: their security, safety, health, and well-being. Unlike many facilities, we do not mix infants in classes with older children. We have been open since December 2012 in Hainesport, New Jersey, with a change in ownership in April 2022. We are the only infant and childcare facility of its kind in the local area, as we also offer overnight and weekend care.
Rooms here are set up so infants stay with infants. That means cribs and low shelves for babies, separate spaces for toddlers and preschoolers. Days follow a steady rhythm of play, meals, rest, and outdoor time. Teachers sit on the floor with children rather than watching from across the room.
The center has been open in Hainesport since December 2012, with new ownership in April 2022. It also runs overnight and weekend care. Your child stays with their age group instead of mixing with older children, and staff hold CPR and First Aid training.
What a day looks like
Mornings start early, and children arrive at different times. A baby settles into a caregiver's arms or onto a blanket with a familiar toy. A toddler heads straight for the blocks. The room has a homey feel that families notice when they walk in, and it stays that way through the morning. Staff greet each child by name.
Through the middle of the day, children move between free play and small-group time. There is art, books, building, and songs, then lunch and rest. Infants eat and sleep on their own schedule rather than the group's. Older children help clean up and get outside when the weather allows. Teachers sit at the tables with them.
The afternoon slows down. Children wake from rest, have a snack, and play quietly until pickup. Parents hear what happened that day, what their child ate, and what made them laugh. One mother said her daughter loves going to school in the morning and would open the door herself if she were tall enough. Ask the teacher anything you want to know.
How we work with families
At pickup, teachers tell you what your child did, how they ate and slept, and anything worth watching. If you have a question, ask then, or call the center during the day. We keep in touch with families as things come up rather than waiting for a scheduled meeting. Every member of our faculty is committed to giving your child care and attention each day.
A new child usually starts with shorter days and builds up. You can stay a while in the room those first mornings. Tell us your child's routine at home, when they nap, and what soothes them, and the teachers follow it as closely as they can. It takes a few weeks for everyone to settle in, and that is normal.

Get in touch
Call or email to tell us your child's age and the days you need. We will tell you what is open.

Tour the room
See the classroom your child would join and meet the teachers who run it. Bring your questions about routines, meals, and rest. Families often visit during the day so they can watch how the room actually runs.

Enroll and settle in
Complete enrollment and plan a first week that suits your child's routine. Staff will ask about naps, feeding, and what comforts your child. You can decide together how to build up the hours.

What should my child bring on the first day?
Pack a change of clothes, diapers if your child needs them, and a comfort item for rest time. Label everything with your child's name. If your child takes a bottle or special food, bring those too.
Do you offer part-time or flexible schedules?
Schedules depend on your child's age and what is open, so ask us what is available for your family. We will tell you honestly what we can offer.
What if there is no place right now?
You can ask us to note your child's age and reach out if a place opens. We will call you when we have one.
