The room your child would join
You walk into the room your child would actually join, during an ordinary part of the day. Look at what sits on the shelves and how the space is arranged for the ages in it. Step outside to see where the children go for outdoor time.
The teachers
You meet the teacher who runs the room, and the director. The owner and director holds a Master's degree. Ask how the day is paced and what the first weeks look like for a new child.
Your questions
Ask about hours, meals, pickup times, and tuition. Bring the practical questions you have been turning over at home. If we do not know an answer on the spot, we follow up with you.
Before you come
Bring your child along if you can. A tour works best when they can stand in the room, see the shelves, and meet the teacher who would be with them each day. We care for children from 2 weeks to 13 years, so there is a room that fits your family's age. Come during our hours, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Write down what matters most before you come. Ask about hours and pickup, meals and rest, and how the first weeks are handled. Ask how parents hear about the day and what happens when a child is unwell or needs to go home. The answers tell you how the center runs on an ordinary Tuesday.
